Lincoln Street School

Red Bluff, CA

Project Overview

Creative multi-use space makes a big impact at a small school.

Independent study space, conference space, science lab and library—Lincoln Street School needed it all. AMS provided it in a high-quality, high-performance building that expands the school’s academic, arts and cultural activities, while giving educators and community agencies a professional space to conduct business. High ceilings, Solatubes, glass doors and large, low-E windows brighten and visually expand an open floorplan that partitions into separate areas for learning, meeting and training. Wall-mounted 16’ whiteboards and modern conference capabilities work equally well for roundtable discussions, multimedia presentations and 21st century learning. Solar power saves energy, cuts costs and adds value, achieving multiple District goals.

  • 10kW PV panels and high-efficiency systems add cost-effective comfort
  • Foldable partitions reconfigure interior spaces for collaborative use
  • Custom galvanized metal wainscoting ties in with nearby buildings
